Zevity

Producer, Creative Visionary, Theatre Leader

About Me

Hi y'all! I’m a New York City based theatre producer, creative, and professional overthinker turning chaos into something beautiful. I’m a proud Texas Latina (go Cowboys!!) with Mexican heritage, and that identity is a huge part of why I do what I do. Growing up, I didn’t always see people who looked like me reflected in the spaces I loved. Now, I produce to change that.

I’ve always been drawn to storytelling in every form. I started as a performer and slowly realized I also loved being the person who brings it all together. The vision, the people, the energy, the execution. Turning ideas into something real is kinda my thing.

I’m currently the Founding Producing Director of The Liminal Theatre Collective, a NYC-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting artists of color and developing new works that actually mean something. I focus on building spaces that center community, intention, and bold storytelling. The kind of work I wish I had seen more of growing up.

Outside of theatre, I’m the Interim Business Operations Director for Higher Ed at Breakout Learning, where I lead cross-functional systems, strategy, and execution at scale. That dual perspective deeply shapes how I produce. I’m not just about ideas. I know how to build the infrastructure to support them.

When I’m not producing, I’m probably running in Central Park, enjoying my AMC A Lister benefits, baking sourdough bread with my starter Gertrude, or playing board games with my friends.

All in all, I’m passionate about producing work that feels intentional, expansive, and impactful, occasionally stepping back into performance (when I have the time), and creating spaces where artists know they belong and can take up space fully. And yes, it will always be done with good taste.

Alrighty, rolling my sleeves up and getting back to work. See you soon, xoxo.

PRODUCING

Artistic Statement:

I create theatre to shift what feels possible.

As a proud Latina with Mexican heritage, I am deeply driven to produce work that reflects the voices, experiences, and perspectives that have historically been silenced, overlooked, or underrepresented. Growing up, I didn’t always see myself in the stories being told. Now, I am committed to changing that by bringing those kinds of stories to the forefront.

I believe theatre should be alive, bold, and in conversation with the world around us. It should build community, foster empathy, challenge perspectives (not just an endless echo-chamber), and invite people from all walks of life in rather than keep them out. I am not interested in maintaining the status quo. I am all about expanding it.

I don’t believe in limiting artists to types, expectations, or what feels comfortable. I believe in range, in risk, and in creating spaces where artists can fully explore who they are. The most powerful work comes from people who feel safe enough to be honest and brave enough to push boundaries.

I lead with intention, care, and clarity. I prioritize creating environments where artists feel seen, heard, and supported, while also being challenged to grow. I care deeply about process over product, collaboration, and ensuring that the room itself is as strong as the work we are creating.

With experience across nonprofit and commercial theatre, as well as in operational leadership, I approach producing with both creativity and strategy. I understand that bold ideas need strong systems behind them, and I am committed to building both.

My goal is to create spaces where people feel represented, where stories resonate, and where artists and audiences alike walk away changed.
