ABOUT ME
Hi y'all! My name is Zevity Lopez and welcome to my website!
I am a CAP 21 Musical Theatre Conservatory/Molloy University Class of 2020 Graduate with a BFA in Theatre Arts and minor in Business Management. I grew up in Plano, Texas and am very proud to be a Texan. Yee-Haw! Most of my life has been spent in the performing arts. From classical ballet at a young age, school choir, then acting and singing in productions, and directing/producing shows, I've done it all! In addition, my hobbies include spending time with family, volunteering, baking, and watching football (go Cowboys!). I am a young theater professional thrilled to continue my career by producing, performing and bringing joy to all audiences everywhere!
Currently, I am the Contracts Coordinator at Dallas Theater Center and am based in NYC. I am proud and honored to have been the first Dallas Theater Center Producing Fellow alum.

PRODUCING
Artistic Statement:
I want to be a part of innovative, diverse theatre that builds and strengthens communities by fostering empathy and dialogue whether it’s through TYA, musicals, plays, new works, and/or education programs. I want to go against the status-quo in all aspects and show both youth and adults that anyone can be in theatre. No one has to stick to their “types” in life, instead you can play any role they want to as long as you are determined, have good work ethic, show up, and have fun!
I lead with these philosophies in mind and love creating spaces in which artists of any kind can flourish and feel seen/heard. I am passionate about producing new works from voices that haven't been heard or represented and want to bring them to the forefront of the theater industry while also creating accessibility/equity to those wanting to see theater. I have worked in both the non-profit and commercial side of theater so I know how to tackle any obstacle with various circumstances.

Zevity is excited to announce she will be Dallas Theater Center's first Producing Fellow for the next year during their 2022-2023 season.
